“I feel “The Substitute (Holiday)”
really embodied my thoughts and feelings about the “Human Canvas”. This image
is set apart by its unique take on the them and the
thought and planning that has gone into the creation of this piece. It allows
the viewer to appreciate the human form in a modern and interesting way,
helping us take a new look at the female body from a unique perspective. I also
appreciate the artist’s take on the traditional self-portrait, again showing
her human canvas as art.”
